Ahem, so, first off, as usual, I love this piece, it just looks brilliant like always, the shading and highlighting also brings out a lot of impact due to its uniqueness, as well as the background, the intensity of the fire, adding to the already heavy impact. Speaking of the fire, the way you`ve made it looks very good indeed, as it looks like actual fire, instead of just a flurry of yellow, orange and red, which is what a lot of people tend to make it look like. You`ve also managed to make the pose look very professional, even if it`s not dynamic, without it ending up lackluster or sort of just "dumped there" out of lazyness. I have noticed negatives about it though, such as the coloring; the teal colorations in some parts appear out-of-place (most noticeable on the chest fur), as do some of the brown parts elsewhere. Also, notice the seeming lack of a shadow where the bangs hang over the muzzle and all that, it could be a little off-putting, since we`re assuming the bangs hang close to the face, in which case there would be a dark shadow underneath, but the lack of one might make it look like they`re much further away. Lastly, the fingers on Lagg`s right (to my left) hand look a little chubby, although that could just be me.
The positives greatly overpower the negatives though, and I will of course say; well done.
(Now I feel like your personal mentor or something. xD)
