So I finally were able to install all my stuff on a new HDD. (Seriously, 4 weeks on a laptop that works on coals and uses rice for energy source is killing you.) So I can resume the commissions and everything else again, huraai.
Also, as for uploading art.Remember when I used to whine about dA blurring my stuff whenever I uploaded something?
Here's the deal:
"PNG files are the best for quality, but is not supported in all printing zones very well for some reason. You will get the best quality, but it won't necessarily show you the exact item you saved. It will save transparency and has a wider range of colors than JPG."
In other words, despite PNG being the best quality, JPEG files works best for uploading since it will make the file faster to download and save space.
It's not Deviant Art that's the bad quality; its the re-sizing in the program.
So if you're having the same issue as me when uploading art on dA, try saving the file as JPEG instead and then upload it again.
(I swear to god it wasn't like this before.)
